Adult Religious Education at Birmingham Unitarian Church emerged out of a tradition of extended discussions of sermon topics during coffee hour.  Classes and workshops address questions raised by current events, our religious heritage and our spiritual experiences in the context of being a Unitarian Universalist.  The goals of our programing are:
  • Spiritual Formation
  • Personal Growth & Development
  • Religious Knowledge
  • Impacting the World as Unitarian Universalists

Classes are offered on Thursday evenings and Sunday mornings, and occasionally at other times.   There is a nominal fee for some courses to defray the cost of guest speakers and course materials.  For current schedule see the adult education brochure.
